Well backed and much improved after 6 months off when narrowly landing a 3¼m Fontwell handicap hurdle in November. Matched that form with third in stronger race at Ascot (first 2 winners next time) 2 weeks later but 2 lesser runs have followed. The refitting of cheekpieces needs to spark a revival.

Fortunate Fella and Five Quarters appeal as potential improvers now handicapping over a longer trip and head the dangers. Coal Fire could also pose a threat if a return to hurdles helps him to recapture his best form.
