Point winner who was runner-up in 2½m Thurles maiden hurdle for Willie Mullins in November. Changed hands for £4,000 thereafter and not matched that level in maiden/novice hurdles for present stable in recent months, but this switch to handicap company could be the catalyst for improvement.

Half-brother to a couple of winning hurdlers and won by a wide margin on the second of his 2 runs between the flags. Made it third time lucky over hurdles on handicap debut at Market Rasen (18.6f, good to soft) on Boxing Day and 3 lb rise looks manageable with further progress likely.

Bounced back to his best for current yard when making all with blinkers refitted at Ludlow (15.7f, soft) last month. Struck again off 2 lb higher at Hereford (16.2f, good), but raised 5 lb for that and this step back up in trip is of dubious benefit.

Snapped a losing run stretching back almost 2 years when capitalising on a falling mark down in grade at Warwick (2m, good to soft) recently. Escapes a penalty for that and no concerns with regard to ground/trip, so there is plenty of cause for optimism.

Failed to build on initial hurdles promise when pitched into handicaps last season and 4 of his half-a-dozen subsequent starts over fences have resulted in non-completions. On the upside, he's feasibly treated back in this sphere and represents a yard in good form.

Improved since returning from a break, making the frame twice at Wetherby in December. Unsuited by the way the race developed at Newcastle the following month, but back on track when recently landing a 10-runner Market Rasen handicap (20.6f, good) in decisive fashion and 4 lb rise fair enough.

Improver in handicaps last season, winning slow-ground contests at Lingfield and Carlisle. That progress hasn't continued this time around, but showed more spark when 3 lengths fourth to Greatness Awaits on the back of a wind op at Ludlow and claims if able to build on that back up in trip here.

Point winner INISHNABRO improved for the step up to 18.5f when opening his Rules account at Market Rasen and, with this further increase in trip likely to bring about more improvement, he could be the answer. Thank You Blue's recent form figures make for grim reading but he's of interest back in this sphere and may emerge as the main danger ahead of Aggagio, who escapes a penalty for his recent Warwick success and is greatly respected, for all that he's an infrequent winner nowadays.
