Ballywood^p,t²⁶

Age: 11| Weight: 11-8| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: G Howell| OR: 94| D

7/1

Evidently isn't the force of old but tumbled in the weights and in the frame on his last 2 visits here under this rider. Drops back in trip down another 2 lb and wouldn't dismiss.

Age: 9| Weight: 11-8| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: Billy Aprahamian| OR: 94| D

10/3

Won back-to-back handicaps at Worcester and Bangor in the autumn but good run of form came to an end when last seen at Plumpton at Christmas. Still on a workable mark if he can get back on the up after 3 months away.

Form: 3-81124

Too Cool Forshrule³²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Henry Brooke| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 86

9/2

Little show in novice/maiden hurdles but switches straight to fences for handicap debut and no surprise if he were capable of better for yard which is an up-and-coming force.

Form: P2-P088

Smart Casual^p,t⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: R P McLernon| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 84| BF

15/8

Strong in the betting and kept up his run of placings as he finished second of 5 at Leicester (2m) last week, still a maiden but looking more straightforward in first-time cheekpieces. This could be the day his luck changes.

Form: 2-33232

Pittsburg^t⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-8| J: Conor Ring| T: R Potter| OR: 80| CD

11/2

Losing run is mounting up (last victory came 14 starts ago over C&D in July) and he's disappointed at Huntingdon the last twice.

Forecasts

Smart Casual (15/8), Mutual Respect (10/3), Too Cool Forshrule (9/2), Pittsburg (11/2), Ballywood (7/1), Bold Jury (11/1)

SMART CASUAL ran well in first-time cheekpieces at Leicester last week and could finally open his account if the headgear works as well again. An improved showing from Too Cool Forshrule now chasing for his burgeoning yard could be on the cards, while veteran Ballywood should give his running here once more.
