Has won a couple of races in maiden/novice company but yet to look like winning a handicap. His mark is falling all the while again, though.

C&D winner back in 2022. Mixed record this year but this looks her optimum conditions and another change of scenery may help.

Winner of 2½m handicap hurdles in the mud at Uttoxeter and Doncaster last winter. Back over hurdles after failing to build on a promising start over fences and not dismissed with tongue tie back on.

Well held in 3 quick outings on the level last month but this point winner had previously shown a fair bit over hurdles, albeit a big gamble on him went astray at Chepstow. Interesting to see if the support comes again down in trip and fitted with tongue tie.

Didn't get home over 20f at Carlisle when last seen in the autumn but landed a gamble on handicap debut in this last year and big run could be forthcoming again back from a 4-month break.

Modest maiden hurdler who showed a bit more at Clonmel (2m) 4 weeks ago. Interesting if the market speaks in favour of this Irish raider after that.

Fair winner on the Flat for Hughie Morrison. Has shaped better than the results in maiden hurdles so far, though again failed to see her race out at Uttoxeter (2m) in November. Makes handicap debut.

On a losing run but had been in good form in this sphere for the Moore yard. Well held on the level for new yard last week but could fare better in re-fitted headgear now.

Forecasts

Tara Iti (6/4), Early Morning Dew (2/1), Ruler Legend (11/4), Let Him B (6/1), Addosh (7/1), Wild Nephin (9/1), Clinton Lane (12/1), Libor Lad (18/1), Now Then Wendy (66/1), No Guarantee (80/1)

Verdict

Quite a few of these are interesting, particularly Irish runner LET HIM B who took a step back in the right direction from out of the blue at Clonmel and could have a bigger effort in him. It'll probably be significant if the betting speaks in his favour and he gets the vote. Wild Nephin, Early Morning Dew and last year's winner Ruler Legend complete the shortlist.
