Bursinel²⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: B W Harvey| T: C Collins

7/1

Fair maiden on the Flat and left hurdling debut form behind when third of 8 in juvenile hurdle at Catterick (15.7f, good to soft) 29 days ago. That form looks about the best on offer.

Form: 03

Glendower^h¹³³

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: Donagh Meyler| T: E Doyle

66/1

Fairly useful maiden (stays 1¼m) at best on Flat, became disappointing. Has left William Muir & Chris Grassick ahead of hurdle debut and possibly best watched.

Form:

Jacko Star

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: C G O'Dwyer⁽⁵⁾| T: J P Dempsey

9/1

Yeats gelding. Dam (c145/h131), 2m-2¾m hurdle/chase winner (stayed 3m), sister to winning hurdler/smart chaser (2m-2½m winner) Ulaan Baatar. Bred more for longer trips but still worth a market check all the same.

Form:

My Mate Tony⁷⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: Phillip Enright| T: P McCreery| OR: 105

25/1

Again shaped with some promise when seventh of 14 in juvenile hurdle at Fairyhouse (16.5f, good to soft, 66/1) 77 days ago, left with lot to do.

Form: P4P7

Needs Must

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: J S McGarvey| T: G Elliott

12/1

Westerner gelding. Half-brother to fair 2m hurdle winner Spoiled Rotten. One of 3 interesting debutants for the yard.

Form:

Positive Energy¹⁴³

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: Sean Flanagan| T: M O'Callaghan| C

2/1

Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 1¼m), improved when winning final start in 2024 for W. McCreery. Interesting hurdling newcomer.

Form:

Raydamann⁶⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: Sam Ewing| T: G Elliott

4/1

Fairly useful maiden on the Flat who was well held in juvenile hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good) on NH debut 64 days ago.

Form: 0

Springhill Warrior

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: Kevin Sexton| T: G Elliott

11/2

Capri gelding. Half-brother to 5 winners, including useful hurdler/smart chaser The Dutchman and bumper winner/useful hurdler The Pirate's Queen. Makes plenty of appeal on paper for leading yard.

Form:

Mudslide Molly

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Kieren Buckley| T: E Buckley

33/1

Jet Away filly. Dam, fair 2m hurdle winner, also 13f winner on Flat, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (17f winner) The Tiddly Tadpole.

Form:

Rhythm Of Life

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Danny Gilligan| T: G Elliott

5/1

Bathyrhon filly. Half-sister to useful bumper winner Shuttle Diplomacy. One to take seriously on debut for top yard.

Form:

Saxon Land³⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: E Walsh| T: Ciaran Murphy

200/1

Fair maiden on Flat but well beaten in 2 maiden hurdles.

Form: 00

Forecasts

Positive Energy (2/1), Raydamann (4/1), Rhythm Of Life (5/1), Springhill Warrior (11/2), Bursinel (7/1), Jacko Star (9/1), Needs Must (12/1), My Mate Tony (25/1), Mudslide Molly (33/1), Glendower (66/1), Saxon Land (200/1), Are We Dancing (300/1)

Gordon Elliott saddles three debutants, but the one who makes most appeal on paper is SPRINGHILL WARRIOR given he's bred to make a useful jumper, so he earns the vote before market clues. Postiive Energy, a winner on his final Flat outing in 2024, is another worthy of consideration, wih Bursinel perhaps the pick of those with hurdling experience.
