Had dropped below his last winning mark and took advantage in emphatic fashion when bolting up in 8-runner event at Lingfield (23.5f, soft) last week, able to be named the winner some way out. Carries a 7 lb penalty which is negated by his amateur, so fancied to be in the mix.

Maiden over hurdles but improved with first-time blinkers enlisted when striking at the second attempt in this sphere at Uttoxeter (3m, heavy) just before Christmas. Not in same form on both subsequent starts however, so needs to bounce back.
Has tumbled in the weights this season and perhaps benefited from refitted cheekpieces as he ended a long losing run in 10-runner handicap at Hereford (25.2f, good to soft) just over a fortnight ago. His overall profile shows he isn't an obvious follow-up candidate, however.
Signed off for Keiran Burke with success at Fontwell last May. Resumed for his new stable with a good second there in November and having ran poorly next time, showed plenty to work on sent chasing at Taunton (23f, good to soft) last month, faring best of those held up. Fancied to build on that.
Built on a couple of reasonably encouraging efforts to record a second career success from a mark 21 lb lower than the first in 11-runner event over C&D (soft) just over 3 weeks ago. Handicapper has reacted with a 6 lb rise but no surprise to see him in the shake up.
Went through a good spell last May, scoring at Uttoxeter and Ffos Las. Arrives here badly out of sorts however, so others preferred.

Forecasts
Faitque De L'Isle (9/4), Puddlesinthepark (3/1), Pearl Island (4/1), Felton Bellevue (5/1), Whynotnowroy (11/2), Higgs (40/1)
WHYNOTNOWROY showed plenty to work on sent chasing when fourth at Taunton last month and, far less exposed as a chaser than his opposition, Neil Mulholland's 7-y-o is fancied to go a few places better at the expense of Felton Bellevue, who sluiced through the mud to score at Lingfield last week and has an amateur offsetting a 7 lb penalty. Faitque de l'Isle and Puddlesinthepark were both last-time-out winners and they can fight out third spot.
