Dual Irish point winner who proved rather hit-and-miss over hurdles last term and recent chase debut at Carlisle wasn't at all promising.
Suited by the step up in trip when third in a Ffos Las handicap hurdle on return in November. However, she ran no sort of a race upped to this trip at Wincanton since and while it's still early days, a patchy profile is starting to emerge. Opposable now switched to fences.
Fair hurdler, winner of Hereford handicap off 9 lb higher in January 2023. Lightly-raced since, though, and she hasn't shown much in 3 starts over fences at up to 2½m (untried over further) since returning from a lengthy absence last month.
Opened hurdles account at Market Rasen last February and back to form this winter, twice placed over timber prior to finishing a good second on chase debut at Chepstow (23.6f, heavy). Went one better in fine style over the same C&D recently and she's a huge player under a penalty.
Winless following 8 attempts between the flags and hasn't made much of an impact in 4 starts over hurdles at up to 20.4f. Will need to leave those low-key efforts behind if she's to play a leading role now upped in trip for this chase debut.
On a potentially good mark judged on bits and pieces of her hurdles form but not on what she's achieved in 3 runs since returning to action in November. Now 0-11 overall and step forward needed now tackling the larger obstacles.
Sent chasing last term, off the mark on final start of the campaign at Wincanton. Produced by far her best effort of this season to date when fourth off 11 in first-time blinkers at Ludlow (23.8f, soft) recently and, having slipped to an attractive mark, she'll be a threat if able to build on that.
From the family of Welsh Grand National winner Potters Corner and hopes very much pinned on this 5-y-o proving to be more of a force in the chase arena than over hurdles (safely held all 4 starts in that sphere).

Forecasts
The Midwife (85/40), Overabottleofred (3/1), Fashion's Model (7/2), After Many Days (9/2), Fay Ce Que Voudras (11/2), Princess Keri (9/1), Loud And Proud (16/1), Miss Hunky Dory (16/1), Lady Pacifico (20/1), Chatshow Host (40/1)
THE MIDWIFE has improved for the switch to fences of late and should prove hard to beat under a penalty on the back of a wide-margin success at Chepstow. It could be that Overabottleofred, who made a positive start in this sphere when second at Leicester, will be the one to follow her home. Fashion's Model is best of the rest.
