Sole defeat when fourth in Dawn Run at last year's Cheltenham Festival and she proved well suited by the return to 2½m when winning a Grade 1 mares' novice at Fairyhouse on her final start. Has to give weight all round on return but no surprise were this smart prospect up to it.

Useful hurdler. Won a mares' listed hurdle here in November but disappointed at Leopardstown over Christmas and Paul Townend sides with Jade de Grugy this time.

Very progressive in handicap hurdles last spring, winning 4 times. Hasn't fancied it over fences this season and now back hurdling in first-time blinkers.

Useful hurdler. 10/1, good second of 25 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (24.1f, good to soft) 19 days ago. Looks the pick at these weights.

Pretty useful 3-time hurdle winner and just as good switched to fences last summer, winning 2 handicaps. Off since failing to stay 25f in the Munster National at Kilbeggan in July. Has a bit to find on these terms.

Forecasts

Jade De Grugy (5/6), Gaoth Chuil (7/4), Lot of Joy (9/2), Mousey Brown (40/1), Aodhan May (100/1)

Verdict

GAOTH CHUIL has produced a couple of pretty smart handicap performances on her last 2 outings and might have a fitness edge over the returning Jade de Grugy, who also to concede 12 lb to Ted Walsh's in-form mare.
