Has struck 4 times on AW Flat for James Owen this winter. Well held on hurdle debut for previous yard. Type to do better in this sphere for current stable but may not be of real interest until handicapping.

Unplaced both starts in points and remote sixth in 2 maiden hurdles in recent weeks. Outsider again.

Only fifth of 7 in a bumper last May but showed promise when second of 10 on Hereford hurdle debut (19.5f, good to soft) in December. Down in trip. Open to progress. Should go well.

Cokoriko gelding. Dam, twice raced over hurdles in France, half-sister to French hurdler/chaser (17f-2½m winner) Raphy de La Roche. This newcomer is best watched unless the betting suggests otherwise.

Has hinted at ability in a bumper and 2 maiden hurdles but unlikely to really come into his own until handicapping.

Fairly useful bumper winner. 7/2, dropped out and left with a lot to do behind an all-the-way winner when 12 lengths second on 2m Hereford hurdle debut in November. Looks sure to improve.

No show in a bumper and 2 maiden hurdles.

From a good jumping family and caught the eye on C&D debut in December. Failed to build on that in a Class 3 Newbury event next time but remains one to be positive about for top stable.

Tailed off a in a bumper and novice hurdle this winter.

Fairly useful on the Flat in France, successful twice on AW in 2024. Sold out of Fabrice Chappet's yard for €30,000 in November and, with her recent spin on the level at Lingfield likely to have sharpened her up, she's of interest for her leading yard now switched to hurdles.

Hasn't shown enough in a bumper and maiden hurdle this winter to think he can make a significant impact here. Wears a first-time hood.

Well held on the Flat for Stan Moore and similar story in 2 juvenile hurdles for John Jenkins at the end of 2024, finishing 19 lengths last of 3 over C&D latterly.

Forecasts

Wotter Trotter (11/10), Not So Sobers (9/4), Guchen (4/1), Sleeping Late (13/2), Timetoshine (17/2), Carlton (18/1), George Darling (28/1), Maggies Boy (50/1), Kaboul Manhattan (150/1), You And Whose Army (200/1), Slemish (250/1), Rocks Up Late (250/1), Lady Fortune (250/1)

Verdict

WOTTER TROTTER wasn't up to quite a useful race at Newbury but his C&D debut prior to that was promising and he can come good back in slightly calmer waters. Guchen and Not So Sobers showed promise on their respective hurdle debuts and head the dangers along with Nicky Henderson hurdle newcomer Timetoshine.
