Ploughed through the mud to win this last year. Easily his best run since when 4½ lengths third of 6 to Gowel Road in Cleeve at Cheltenham 3m4f, soft) 21 days ago. Claims if in similar form.

Made it 3-3 for Dan Skelton with a useful performance to land a competitive staying handicap at the Aintree Grand National meeting last April. Even better form in defeat on both completed starts this term but he has something to find stepping up to Grade 2 level.
Irish point winner who was very progressive in novice hurdles last winter, including a 3m Doncaster Grade 2 win. However, he ran no sort of a race in valuable C&D handicap on reappearance in November and needs to get back on track following a wind op. Hughes seemingly prefers Sounds Russian.
High-class chaser who was only a remote fifth to Botox Has in this race back hurdling on last year's reappearance but did win a 3m Perth listed novice in April. Absent again since. Has won fresh before but last year's performance raises doubts as to whether he'll be fully tuned this afternoon.
Won the Midlands National at Uttoxeter last March and improved again when a 31-length winner on his 29f Ascot reappearance. Confirmed that wide-margin success didn't flatter him when third in Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle back at Ascot just before Christmas. Tough to beat if in the same form.
Very smart chaser at best but not at the same level in 2 outings over hurdles this season, latterly finishing 18¾ lengths fourth of 6 to Lucky Place in Relkeel at Cheltenham on New Year's Day. Others are more obvious.

Forecasts
Beauport (2/1), Botox Has (11/4), Thunder Rock (9/2), Gwennie May Boy (6/1), Nemean Lion (6/1), Kerryhill (17/2), Sounds Russian (14/1), Indiana Dream (16/1)
BEAUPORT will take a bit of pegging back if in anything like the same form as when third in the Grade 1 Long Walk at Ascot in December. With doubts about the classy Nemean Lion's stamina tackling 3m for the first time it could be that the chief threat comes from last year's winner Botox Has.
