Has resumed in good nick, fourth of 15 in Welsh National at Chepstow (30.6f, good to soft) 43 days ago. Down in trip with cheekpieces back on and must enter calculations.

Yet to score this term but he has made the frame on all three starts, a good third of 8 in handicap chase at Haydock (25.6f, soft) 21 days ago. Can go well again off the same mark.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time when a fair sixth of 10 in handicap chase at Market Rasen (21.4f, good to soft) 22 days ago. In the picture with tongue strap now back on off a falling mark.
Low-mileage chaser who made a promising return from 10 months off when third of 9 in handicap chase at Newbury (26f, good to soft) 42 days ago, going with enthusiasm. Merits serious consideration with that run under his belt.
Resumed his progress with success in 4-runner handicap chase at Doncaster (24f, good to soft) 57 days ago. Not taken lightly despite a 4 lb weights rise.
Arrives in very good nick, sticking to his task well when second of 8 in handicap chase at Wetherby (19.4f, heavy) 16 days ago. Ought to go well again back up in trip.
Comes here on a hat-trick after landing a pair of handicap chases at Leicester. Strong at the finish on latter occasion (22.7f) so can take another step forward now tackling 3m.
A dual chase winner last term but yet to hit top form this time around in handicap hurdles at Navan and Fairyhouse. Could still bounce back though now reverted to fences.

Forecasts
Hunter Legend (5/2), Cerendipity (3/1), Brave Kingdom (11/2), The Kniphand (7/1), Richmond Lake (8/1), Monbeg Genius (17/2), Duke Of Deception (12/1), Jetoile (16/1), Where's Frankie (20/1)
A number of these offer potential, not least Paul Nicholls' BRAVE KINGDOM who shaped well after an absence when third at Newbury and can take a sizeable step forward now and get back to winning ways. Richmond Lake figures on a lenient mark and seems sure to be on the premises, while hat-trick seeking Hunter Legend is another who must enter calculations. The Kniphand and Cerendipity both need factoring into a cracking handicap too.
