Fair hurdler form and has left his inauspicious chase debut form well behind the last twice, latterly finding just one too good at Hereford (21f, good to soft). The winner didn't do much for the form when pulled up next time but this 9-y-o at least appears to be going the right way over fences.

Fair handicap hurdler/chaser who, fitted with cheekpieces, went agonisingly close to getting off the mark in this sphere at Uttoxeter in November. Delivered another good shift at Hereford recently and it's not hard to envisage this 8-y-o playing a leading role.

Winner over hurdles at Perth last summer and followed that with a couple of respectable efforts in defeat. Yet to trouble the judge in this sphere and while his latest third at Hereford was a creditable effort, he has a fair bit to find with Golden de Coeur on that evidence.

Verdict

ZESTFUL HOPE has been knocking on the door in recent months and shades preference ahead of the hat-trick seeking Ideallko. It's by no means a two-horse race, though, with Golden de Coeur seemingly getting the hang of things over fences and Rajjamataz likely to strip fitter following his reappearance spin at Uttoxeter.
