Multiple point winner who scored twice in hunters last season. Disappointed under Rules the last twice, however, and finished well held on return between the flags. Others more appealing.

Fair hurdler for Nicky Henderson and broke his duck in points for current yard in January 2023. Not seen since, though, and market should prove best guide to claims on return/chase debut.

Placed in a couple of small-field points this season but is winless after 14 attempts under Rules and looks to have plenty on his plate here.

Fairly useful hurdler for Paul Nicholls who was given a considerate introduction over the larger obstacles when second in Exeter handicap (24.2f) in November 2022. Won both his starts in points for new connections last year and remains with potential.

Fairly useful chaser who made the frame in 3 of his 6 starts during 2022/23. Not seen for 22 months but he has the assistance of a useful amateur and is worth monitoring in the market.

Fairly-useful performer under Rules for Dan Skelton who finished well held, back from 13 months off, in point 12 days ago. Entitled to come on from that, however, and not ruled out.
