Mixed record over hurdles this season but returns to fences on a winning mark despite winning on penultimate start in this sphere. Could be worth chancing.

Notched 5 handicap wins during first campaign over fences in 2023/24, completing a hat-trick in good style at Wincanton in April. However, he ended that campaign on a downer (pulled up at Ayr) and he hasn't shown much in 3 starts so far this season. Headgear now applied.

Won sole point and has started out really well over fences, easily taking 9-runner handicap at Wincanton before just edged out under a penalty there on Boxing Day. Still unexposed and big player again.

Multiple winner over hurdles for Tom Lacey. £16,000 buy for new trainer and did all he could behind a progressive one back chasing at Bangor before going one better up against a couple of chase debutants at Ayr. This more competitive but he's in with a shot.

Signed off last term with success in 9-runner handicap chase at Chepstow in April. Decent third at Fontwell on return last month and entitled to build on that.

Only second run for his current yard when getting off the mark over fences at Leicester a year ago. Mixed record since, though, running no sort of race at Windsor on return last month (found to have suffered an irregular heartbeat).

Signed off last term with 3m Ascot success and also a creditable third at Kempton (3m again) in May. Disappointed when a remote fourth in 2 chases this autumn and no resurgence for return to hurdling at Doncaster in November. Others preferred.

Scored at Doncaster in February 2023, for James Ewart but no promise in 2 outings for current trainer.
