Respectable third of 6 in handicap at Chelmsford City (7f) in December but unperformed in blinkers behind Society Man. They are quickly discarded and replaced with a tongue-tie and he remains capable of better than he showed last time, especially as he's 2-2 over C&D.

Encouraging first run for yard after leaving Fabrice Chappet, having been easy back, travelled better than most and kept on to finish second of 8 in a handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 19 days ago. Entitled to build on that and has a leading chance.
Followed 7f success at Southwell in April with a string of creditable efforts in defeat on turf, finished campaign with solid third of 11 in a handicap at Haydock (7f, good). Off for 141 days but has run well fresh before.
Latest win at York in October. 25/1, fifth of 7 in a handicap at this course (8f) 24 days ago, having run of race from the front. Down 1 lb for that effort and could be edging towards a workable mark.
4-time C&D winner. Opened his account for the year at Doncaster in November and was seen to maximum effect when following up in 12-runner handicap (10/1) at Newcastle (7.1f) have had run of the race. Ran creditably from 5 lb higher mark when 5th of 12 at Southwell last month. Should be competitive.
Course winner. Three wins from 9 runs last year. Latest win at Yarmouth in July. 12/1, respectable fourth of 8 in a handicap at this course (6f) effort flattened out late on. That run was off the back of a 5 month break however, and he's entitled to strip fitter here.
C&D winner who resumed winning ways at Wolverhampton (7f) prior to a good second of 5 in handicap back there (8.6f) earlier this month. Wasn't seen to best effect (fifth of 11) and is best judged on her earlier form. Claims.

Forecasts
Society Man (5/2), Zip (7/2), Brewing (9/2), Enola Grey (11/2), Empirestateofmind (6/1), Daring Legend (8/1), Tropez Power (16/1)
Plenty in with a chance, but the most interesting runner is SOCIETY MAN who defied market expectations when second on U.K. debut and looks capable of going one better for the in-form Charlie Johnston team. Brewing is 2-2 over C&D and could be a big danger if back to his best in a first-time tongue-tie. Empirestateofmind is edging down the handicap again and is taken to finish best of the rest.
