3/1

C&D winner scored cosily at Southwell in January before posting a good second of 8 in minor event there (8.1f) 5 days ago. Big shout under a 5 lb penalty.

Form: 9682-12

Forecasts

Charlatan (3/1), Raqraaq (4/1), Overnight Oats (4/1), Devasboy (6/1), Kondratiev Wave (13/2), Delta Legend (7/1), Claxton Bay (18/1), Colorada Dancer (20/1), Takeover Target (50/1), First Greyed (80/1)

CHARLATAN rates the pick of the weights under a 5 lb penalty for his cosy Southwell victory so looks the way to go at the chief expense of in-form duo Overnight Oats and Kondratiev Wave, who can chase home David Simcock's 5-y-o in that order.
