Bumper winner who made no mistake on his first outing over hurdles when landing a 14-runner novice at Carlisle (20f) in October, finishing well after conceding first run. Faced a stiff task attempting to concede 7-lb to a promising type at Warwick (21f) and remains with potential.

Has clearly had his problems since showing fairly useful form in bumpers for Anthony McCann but retains plenty of ability based on what he's done over hurdles, scoring readily in a novice claiming event at Ludlow in December. Showed similar form behind a useful prospect at Huntingdon since. Player.

Mount Nelson gelding. Dam, unraced, closely related to fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser (Welsh Grand National winner, stayed 4¼m) Potters Corner. Won twice in points in 2024, third last time (May 5). Starts out under Rules in a tongue strap.

Won his sole start in Irish points and shaped with a good deal of encouragement switched to Rules when third of 9 in an Aintree novice (20f) in October. Still in need of experience when filling same spot at Newcastle (22f) and remains open to improvement.

Successful on second of 2 starts in Irish points, though that was back in May 2021 and he has been well held in a bumper/novice hurdle 20 months apart.

Runner-up in a point in May and has shown promise in making the frame in a bumper/novice hurdle under Rules. Step up in trip will suit and open to improvement.
