Fast-improving chaser who built on a highly encouraging reappearance at Exeter when cruising to success at the expense of Protektorat in the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon last time. On worse terms with that rival now but fancied to uphold the form.

Very smart chaser. Off 7 months, 11/1, 35½ lengths sixth of 8 to Fact To File in John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase at Punchestown (19.7f, good to soft) 56 days ago. This is easier, so not without hope.
Back to winning ways in the Ryanair at the Cheltenham Festival in March. Backed that up when 2½ lengths third to Jonbon at Aintree and, with reappearance behind him, ran well behind Djelo in the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon last time. Not sure to turn the tables, though.
Not a fluent jumper of fences but top-class on his day and shaped as if as good as ever when third in Old Roan at Aintree on return, leaving the impression he'd have pushed the winner closer had he been asked for his effort sooner. Too free in the Betfair Chase since and can bounce back.
Unbeaten in three runs to date, including a bumper, maiden hurdle and a Navan novice chase. Looked an exciting prospect so well worth monitoring in the betting for new stable after 13 months off.
Landed 3 of his first 4 starts at Cartmel this term and followed up with some solid efforts. Took the wrong course when contesting a Cross Country at Cheltenham before again failing to complete at Sandown 43 days ago. Tough ask.

Forecasts
Djelo (5/4), Protektorat (10/3), Pic D'Orhy (9/2), Ahoy Senor (5/1), Journey With Me (11/2), Indiana Dream (9/1), Le Patron (20/1), Tommie Beau (150/1)
DJELO easily accounted for Protektorat in the Peterborough last time and, although 3 lb worse off with that rival now, he's expected to confirm his authority with the scope for better again. An on-song Ahoy Senor would be a big danger.
