Fairly useful bumper winner in Ireland in 2022. Best effort for current connections when fourth of 11 in a novice hurdle at Windsor (16f, good to soft) 35 days ago, took closer order 3 out but unable to sustain effort. Not ruled out on handicap debut on only his fourth start over timber.

Made all on handicap debut over C&D in October. Not in the same form when a well-held third under a penalty at Fontwell the following week and struggled in a stronger contest when last seen 35 days ago (last of 6, Windsor). Needs to bounce back, but could do so at this venue.

Heavily backed returning from a break when second of 6 in a handicap hurdle at Fontwell (19.1f, soft) 24 days ago. travelled powerfully and not helped by untidy jump 2 out. Back in trip today but didn't look short of speed on that occasion and should have an excellent chance.

Second on handicap debut at Southwell (2m) in November, faring best of the trio who ensured a brisk early gallop. Seemingly not suited by the step up in trip when fourth of 6 at Fontwell (19.1f) 24 days ago. Not discounted back down in trip for yard with an excellent strike-rate here.

Took a keen hold and tailed off in well-contested 3-y-o Newbury bumper in December 2023 for Tom Lacey but hasn't achieve a great deal over hurdles in recent months for new yard. Needs more.

Fair scorer on the Flat up to 10f for Tom Clover. Left that yard for £9,000 and has been consistent over hurdles (but remains a maiden) for current connections. Hood on for the first time when second of 8 at Warwick (16f) last month, keen and outbattled late on. Place claims again now handicapping.

Three-time winner on the Flat but hasn't shown much over hurdles, finishing down the field at Plumpton (15.9f) 34 days ago. Goes handicapping now but others preferred.

KALIF D'AIRY was well-backed and moved through the race powerfully when second over further on Boxing Day. The drop back to 2m should pose no problem, and he can go one better today in a race that should be run to suit. The consistent Character Testing should be in the money yet again, along with Mavis Pike who is down in class and returns to the scene of her sole victory.
