Useful novice chaser last term but form dipped towards the end of the season and he hasn't fired back over hurdles since returning.
Did well last season, winning novice and handicap hurdle over 17f at Exeter. Made encouraging comeback when fifth of 14 at Cheltenham (16.8f, good to soft) 20 days ago, making big move from rear to head chasing pack (winner had flown), tired late on. Should build on that and is very much respected.
Winner of his completed start over hurdles for Anthony Charlton last winter and generally positive start for this yard, back on track when third at Sandown last time. One to consider after a break.
Bumper winner for Willie Mullins prior to winning 3 times over hurdles for N. George & A. Zetterholm in France, showing fairly useful form. Claimed for €21,506 and has joined a yard that has an excellent record with new recruits. Interesting contender.
Maiden/novice hurdle winner who has recorded good in-frame efforts in all 4 handicaps, fourth at Doncaster on latest. Should give another good account and may not have reached his limit.
Back on track lately and enhanced a solid track record when third in first-time cheekpieces here last time. Should make his presence felt again.
Had the race at his mercy when falling at the last at Bangor on penultimate start but made amends at Uttoxeter (15.8f, soft) 25 days ago, led on bridle home straight, pushed out near finish, easily. Opening mark could be lenient and he's the one to beat
Won 2m handicaps at Doncaster and Taunton last winter but below that level more recently, failing to beat a rival over C&D last time. Others preferred.

Forecasts
Oh My Johnny (11/8), Spirits Bay (7/2), Bertie's Ballet (13/2), Lario (7/1), Coniston George (9/1), Pembroke (12/1), Ninth Loch (16/1), Rewired (66/1)
OH MY JOHNNY had the race at his mercy when falling at Bangor on his penultimate run and the form has worked out very well. He quickly made amends at Uttoxeter and is fancied to follow up from what could be a generous opening mark. Lario is a threat and Spirits Bay needs considering having shaped better than the result in a competitive affair at Cheltenham last time.
