Margaret's Legacy^h³³

9/4

Ex-French chaser who's won 2 of his last 3 starts, including on return/debut for this yard at Southwell last month, landing a gamble in the process. Remains of interest.

Form: 3/5412-1

Heros³⁰⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-13| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 118

10/1

Started his chase career with a brace of 18f wins at Taunton and back to his best when second at Wetherby/and this C&D last 2 starts. Can go well fresh so not taken lightly on return.

Form: 113322-

Taras Halls^p¹⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-13| J: Peter Kavanagh⁽³⁾| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 118| D

9/2

Bumper winner who was winless over hurdles but decent start over larger obstacles, off the mark at Uttoxeter 18 days ago. Margin of victory that day probably flatters him, however, so more needed to defy 10 lb rise.

Form: 20-5421

No No Tango^t⁴⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-11| J: Paul O'Brien| T: Harry Derham| OR: 116| D

2/1

Hasn't stood much racing of late but seems sure to make up for lost time judging by his impressive winning start for his up-and-coming yard at Wincanton last month. Sure to progress and win more races.

Form: 5234/4-1

Ned Tanner^p,t¹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-11| J: Sean Quinlan| T: N W Alexander| OR: 116| CD

6/1

Dual chase winner at Kelso as a novice. Progress stalled last season but back on track fitted with headgear/tongue tie when scoring over C&D late last month. Capable of remaining competitive up 4 lb.

Form: F32-451

Roger Rarebit^t³⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Stan Sheppard| T: T Lacey| OR: 107| D

14/1

Made a winning seasonal/chase debut at Uttoxeter (20f, heavy) 14 months ago. Seen only 4 times thereafter, though back to best after 8 months off when second at Warwick 5 weeks ago. Not sure to build on that, however.

Form: U/1P3P-2

Nine Nine Nine²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: Conor Ring| T: S-J Davies| OR: 88| D

33/1

Won twice at Leicester last season and better for return when third there 3 weeks ago. Will find this tough from out of the handicap, however.

Form: 3344-P3

Forecasts

No No Tango (2/1), Margaret's Legacy (9/4), Taras Halls (9/2), Ned Tanner (6/1), Heros (10/1), Hello Judge (12/1), Roger Rarebit (14/1), Nine Nine Nine (33/1)

NO NO TANGO made light of a 13-month absence to justify strong support in good style starting out for this yard at Wincanton 6 weeks ago and shades the vote over Margaret's Legacy, who also landed a gamble for a new stable when making a winning comeback at Southwell. Ned Tanner responded well to headgear/tongue strap when taking advantage of his reduced mark over C&D late last month and is best of the others.
