Hasn't won under Rules for quite some time but held form well off similar marks over hurdles last term. Second in a 3-runner point in November, so shouldn't be found wanting fitness-wise on this seasonal reappearance and and this veteran is worth considering.
Improved in novice hurdles, winning at Doncaster (19.5f, heavy) in March. Progress has come to a halt in handicaps, though, weakening before stamina for 26f was tested when last seen in May (first-time cheekpieces).
Twice successful in handicap hurdles at Huntingdon last season. Very much a chaser on looks but failed to improve for switch to the larger obstacles to end 2024. Just 1 lb above last winning mark returned to timber so he's of interest.
Dual winner around 3m in the spring for Robbie Llewellyn. Stuck to her task pretty well when fifth starting out for new yard at Bangor in October (23.2f) and also rallied to the cause when third at Hereford a month ago. Should be on the premises again.
Ended last term with a C&D handicap win and shaped well switched to chasing when second of 10 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (24f, soft) in May, conceding first run to winner. Very much one to consider despite a lay-off.
Back to form from out of the blue when taking advantage of a reduced mark in a Ffos Las handicap chase (3m, soft) in April 2023. Lightly raced and little to shout about since.
Still a maiden but she ran up to form when third of 9 in handicap chase at Wincanton (3m1f) 27 days ago. Returns to timber.

Forecasts
Pipers Cross (15/8), Jack Sprat (3/1), Mister Barclay (4/1), Getaway With You (5/1), Inchagoill Lady (6/1), Longshanks (10/1), Marmalade Time (12/1), To Be Sure (22/1)
JACK SPRAT didn't improve as may have been expected over fences but he figures on a tempting mark returned to timber for a yard in good order. He receives the vote in favour of Pipers Cross and Mister Barclay (on his return to action).
