Bated Breath filly who proved too free after 13 months off when fifth of 10 in novice at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 30 days ago, left behind early in the straight. Tongue tie worn then quickly discarded and hood now reached for. Best watched.

110,000 gns yearling, Dark Angel colt. Closely related to useful 6f winner Wallop and half-brother to several winners, including 2-y-o 6f winner Huraiz and 5f-7f winner Mulzim, both useful. Dam unraced. Appeals as a likely type on paper and he's one to note.
Promising son of Lope De Vega who stepped up on his debut run despite residual greenness catching him out when third of 9 in novice (3/1) at Southwell (6.1f) 20 days ago, keeping on but finding the line coming too soon. One to be interested in.
Promising sort. 13/2, sixth of 8 in novice at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) on debut in May for Roger Varian. Sold for 42,000gns in October. Joined a very good yard and market confidence would look significant.
Blue Point filly who was off 6 months prior to an improved display when second of 9 in novice at Newcastle (6f, 6/1) 33 days ago, having run of race but sticking to the task when headed. Can give another good account again.
Solid start when second in 10-runner novice at Newmarket (6f) back in May but unable to truly build on that effort in handful of starts thereafter last summer. Off 6 months ahead of this polytrack debut and she's not one to be writing off just yet.

Forecasts
Megaphone (5/6), Desert Champion (10/3), Berkshire Whisper (7/1), Blue Empress (8/1), New Charter (12/1), Alabama Belle (125/1)
DESERT CHAMPION went like the best horse at the weights before ultimately finding residual greenness just catching him out when a close third at Southwell 3 weeks ago and, remaining capable of better, he's fancied to confirm the promise of that effort and come out on top. Megaphone, on debut for George Boughey, and appealing newcomer Berkshire Whisper are others to note.
