Age: 7|  Weight: 11-10| J: Conor Ring| T: B Eckley| OR:  98| CD
Improved when off the mark in 15-runner handicap hurdle at this C&D (good to soft) 17 days ago, just holding on. Faces a stiff task under a penalty back in a novice, however.

Offered little when pulled up in C&D bumper (good to soft) on debut 41 days ago, labouring soon after halfway (found to have an irregular heartbeat). Makes hurdles bow.

Walk In The Park gelding. Half-brother to numerous winners, including fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser El Presente, stays 29f, and useful hurdler Kateira. Pulled up sole outing in points but has joined a top stable.

Dunskay334
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-3| J: Ben Jones| T: B Pauling| DWS
Dual bumper winner who rates a useful prospect for hurdling. Has had a breathing operation since last seen.
|
Timeform
Fourth in bumper at Fontwell and well held at big prices in novice/maiden hurdles, not at all knocked about at Warwick last time (suspended from running for 40 days, trainer fined, jockey banned). Remains capable of better.
|
Timeform
A useful winner on Flat (stays 2m) for William Haggas. Changed hands for 45,000 gns but little promise completed starts over hurdles.
|
Timeform
Just minor promise both starts over hurdles. More one for handicaps after this.
|
Timeform
Has hinted at ability in 2 bumpers and showed more than first time up over hurdles when fourth of 14 in a C&D novice 17 days ago. May do better still, particularly when sent handicapping.
|
Timeform
Runner-up sole start in points but no promise so far under Rules. Off 21 months.

Age: 6|  Weight: 10-10| J: Benjamin Poste| T: H J Evans
Runner-up on the second of 3 bumpers and has shown a bit of promise over hurdles but will be better off in handicaps in due course.

Fair bumper winner for Rod Millman who has made little impact in 2 maiden hurdles.
|
Timeform
Half-sister to 4 winners and shaped well when third in newcomers race at Auteuil on hurdles debut last October. Subsequently changed hands for €100,000 and wasn't knocked about under testing conditions when fourth of 5 in Sandown listed event last month. Remains capable of better.

Black Sam Bellamy mare who has looked in need of experience in bumper/novice hurdles in recent months. Probably one for handicaps later on.

Forecasts

Dunskay (11/8), Epinephrine (7/4), Chuggy (8/1), Slide Rule (12/1), Timeforarum (14/1), Edmond (16/1), Shan't Wait (25/1), Nathanael Greene (25/1), Damzon (25/1), Klic Boum (50/1), Boris Birdbrook (66/1), Eskimo Sam (66/1), Sonic Gold (150/1)

Verdict

DUNSKAY rates a useful prospect for hurdling following 2 successes in bumpers last season and is narrowly preferred to Epinephrine, who was considerately handled on last month's stable debut at Sandown and remains capable of better. Chuggy was pulled up on his sole outing in points but has joined a top yard and needs a market check ahead of this switch to Rules.
