Now has the cheekpieces he wore when successful on the Flat combined with the tongue tie he wore at Kempton. Interesting to see whether his backers return.

Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1¼m) and made a positive start to his hurdle career when second over C&D (good to soft) 5 weeks ago, with the reopposing Spartan Warrior 8 lengths back in third. Leading claims with improvement likely.

Modest maiden on the Flat for Sir Michael Stoute. Reached the frame in his first 2 hurdles for new connections but let down by his jumping at Catterick latest, unseating at the fourth. Hood back on.

Fair dual 1m Flat winner for David O'Meara. Offered something to work on when fifth of 11 on Catterick hurdle debut last month but his jumping lacked fluency.

Fair form when third in newcomers race at Clairefontaine on his Flat debut in August. Sold from Andreas Suborics for €32,000 in November. Market informative now hurdling.

Swerved and unseated first on debut at Wetherby and ran to a barely modest level when last of 5 at Doncaster 4 weeks later. Johnny Ringo has to be considered the yard first string.

Fair dual Flat winner for Ollie Sangster and has translated that ability to hurdles, finishing third over C&D (Johnny Ringo ahead in second) and at Newcastle in quick succession in November. Player.
