Continues to progress, outstanding recent record reading 3 wins and 3 seconds from last 6 starts, Latest second in handicap hurdle at Southwell (24.3f, good to soft, 5/2) 16 days ago could have easily been a victory with a better jump at the last and should go well again today.

At least as good as ever having another try at chasing last season, making it 2 wins from his final 3 starts when successful at Plumpton (25.7f, good to soft) in January. However two starts this season have been disappointing, pulled up over fences and hurdles, and something to prove now.

Still on the up for his current yard, having won easily at Uttoxeter (20f) in November, he lost nothing in defeat when supported in the market and only just denied when second of 8 at Doncaster (19.4f) 19 days ago. Shaped like a step up in trip would suit that day and big player now tackling 3m.

Excellent record of two victories and a second from three starts here. Ran better than the result at Doncaster (24.4f, good to soft) latest, in contention 3 out and not given hard time. Yard is flying and everything seems to be pointing towards an improved showing today.

Has run with credit last two runs (ridden positively), latest when third of 10 in handicap hurdle at Hereford (21.7f, good) 50 days ago. Should run his race but place claims might be his best hope in a stronger contest.

Fair maiden hurdler. Good start for new yard when second in 20.5f Wexford handicap in August. Not in same form when sixth at Killarney 5 weeks later. Freshened up (87-day break) and represents a stable who generally do well with horses they bring over (11/1 second at Doncaster with latest runner).

Serial runner-up over hurdles and finally got his head in front over the fences at Huntingdon (23.6f, good to firm) in May. Disappointed in two starts after (including seasonal comeback) but shaped better in first time tongue-tie over C&D (third of 9) 10 days ago. This looks a tougher test today.

With the stable among the winners and signs of encouragement last time out, it might pay to be with FOR GINA at a track where she has a good record. Court Cian is unexposed at this trip and is a big danger, while it would be foolish to discount Magical Arthur who has been the model of consistency.
