Pigeon House^p⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-13| J: William Shanahan⁽⁵⁾| T: J Candlish| OR: 127| BF| D

13/8

Won twice over hurdles (at up to 18.2f) when trained by Jessie Harrington. Has run well in similar events the last twice for new yard, for all he's found a double penalty too great a burden, and he's got to be respected back down in trip.

How About No³²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: Sean Quinlan| T: Lizzie Quinlan| OR: 118

9/2

Fairly useful winner on Flat and placed all 4 starts in maiden hurdles for Joseph O'Brien. Low-key for new yard over timber at Newcastle but this is easier down markedly in trip.

Stressfree⁵³

6/4

Useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m), creditable effort last time. Related to a jumps winner in France and worth a look starting out in this sphere.

Form:

Travis Wheatley³²

9/1

Point winner in May and shaped encouragingly switched to Rules when second in Newcastle bumper in October. Well held with How About No on hurdles debut there 5 weeks ago and open to improvement.

Forecasts

Stressfree (6/4), Pigeon House (13/8), How About No (9/2), Travis Wheatley (9/1), Uncertain Terms (50/1)

PIGEON HOUSE has made a good start over hurdles for Jennie Candlish for all he's twice found one too strong and he looks the one to beat despite the drop in trip. Useful Flat performer Stressfree might be the danger.
