Skycutter¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 12-1| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 127| D

5/1

Winning hurdler for this yard last season and off the mark over fences in 2m novice handicap at Warwick a fortnight ago, a more positive ride getting the best out of him as he saw off The Good Doctor. Player if allowed to kick on again.

Form: 130-221

The Good Doctor¹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Ben Jones| T: B Pauling| OR: 121

5/2

Fairly useful hurdler who looks the part for chasing and entitled to progress from good first try back from 8 months off here a fortnight ago, the only one to emerge from the pack to threaten the front-running Skycutter. One to consider.

Form: 4128P-2

No Risk With Lou^h¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: Kielan Woods| T: A M Hales| OR: 120| BF| D

11/2

Dual winning chaser who looked set to go close when unseating 4 out at Doncaster last month and ran respectably when set a lot to do there a fortnight ago. One to consider.

Form: 135-1U3

The Famous Five¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 118| D

2/1

Fairly useful over hurdles and showed aptitude for chasing at Windsor a fortnight ago. Entitled to do better, just the type his yard excels with.

Form: 3411-73

Ballybreeze⁴⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: S Drinkwater| OR: 114| D

11/2

Made winning start over fences at Chepstow (2m) in October 2022. Lightly raced since, but well backed and shaped better than the bare result after 12 months off over hurdles at Leicester 6 weeks ago, travelling into things with purpose before an error knocked the stuffing out of him. Interesting.

Form: 317F/U-9

Forecasts

The Famous Five (2/1), The Good Doctor (5/2), Skycutter (5/1), No Risk With Lou (11/2), Ballybreeze (11/2), Jetronic (12/1)

BALLYBREEZE has been given a chance by the handicapper back over fences and could be worth supporting after catching the eye on his return from a year off at Leicester. The Famous Five is just the type to better his fairly useful hurdles form over fences for Venetia Williams after a promising effort at Windsor and he's feared most ahead of Warwick 1-2 Skycutter and The Good Doctor.
