Still raw when 2-2 in novice hurdles (one at this track). Shaped better than beaten distance (14.5l) when fourth of 7 at Uttoxeter (23.3f) on handicap debut 27 days ago. Appeared to need the run that day, but connections quick to go back down in trip. Much better expected on this occasion.
