Useful at his best and, while he didn't get his head in front last term, he returned to form in cheekpieces when runner-up at Taunton (28.4f, soft) in March. However, he turned in a particularly lacklustre display after 7 months off at Ascot recently so no surprise to see headgear back on.

Won on 3m Wetherby reappearance last season and far from disgraced from 12 lb out of the handicap when fourth in Welsh National at Chepstow 12 months ago, albeit beaten a distance. Last seen tailed-off second of 3 at Uttoxeter (24f, heavy) 8 months ago but considered given his record fresh.

Dual winner over hurdles who ran well when making the frame twice last season. Offered little on chase debut but much improved when rallying for success in novices' handicap at Huntingdon (23.6f, good) last month. Failed to land the odds at Catterick since however, so needs to bounce back.

Placed on only start in points and off the mark over hurdles here in May. Jumped much better than previously this season when opening his account over fences in 10-runner handicap at this C&D (good to soft) last month and should make another bold bid following a 4 lb rise.

Now twelve runs since last win in 2022 and ran poorly after 6 months off at Chepstow (23.6f, good) just over 4 weeks ago, dropping away quickly. Mark continues to tumble but can only be watched.

Showed a fair level of ability in bumpers and matched that over hurdles. Creditable third at Kempton on chase debut last month but it was pretty laboured stuff returning from 4 months off. Step up in trip may help.

Hasn't stood much racing since joining this yard from Oliver Sherwood and has been well beaten on both starts since returning from 5 months off (latest over hurdles). Back over the larger obstacles here but tough to enthuse over.

FACE D'MUSIC boasts a fine record at this track and having jumped much better than previously this season when winning over C&D last month, Katy Price's 5-y-o gets the nod to follow up. Not Sure won on reappearance at Wetherby last year, so he heads up the dangers, with Just Loose Change taken to edge out Muskoka for the third spot.
