Fair form without tasting success in novice/maiden hurdles last season but hasn't fired in two chase outings this term.
Placed twice from 4 starts over hurdles for Gabriel Leenders in France. Advanced his form when getting off the mark in 10-runner handicap chase at Ffos Las (19.4f, heavy) 29 days ago. Can do better still. Well in the mix.
Got back on the up when making all at Newton Abbot in May and continued in good heart when runner-up at Fakenham (21.2f, good) 13 days later. Bit better than the result the last twice and this drop back in trip is in his favour.
Good 1¼ lengths third of 13 to My Rockstar in handicap chase (11/1) at Taunton (18.2f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Enters calculations.
Point winner at the start of the year and made a successful chase debut starting out for this yard at Newton Abbot (21f, soft) in May. In-and-out form since but race may have come too soon at Ludlow last time, so not written off.
Exploits decidedly mixed since last win and again failed to fire at Southwell last time. Well treated if he can bounce back.
Scored 3 times over hurdles in 2023 and showed some promise sent chasing for his new yard when third in Stratford novice handicap. Has gone over the edge temperament wise subsequently though, and was down the field at Taunton last time.
Better hurdler than chaser and doubled his tally in this sphere in 13-runner event at Hereford 8 days ago. Not all out, so should go well again if the race doesn't come too soon.
Went close on second of his 2 starts between the flags and bettered hurdles form at the first attempt when second at Market Rasen last month. Failed to back it up there but too soon to write off.
Winless since his debut but he posted a very good second of 12 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell on final outing last season. Below form both recent outings, though, and has a bit to prove switched to chasing.
Took form up a notch when getting off the mark on fencing bow in 12-runner handicap chase here in October. Not in the same form at Hereford next time but return to this track could help.
Poor handicap chaser who got back to winning ways under a positive ride in a thin race at Taunton three weeks ago. This is tougher but he's likely to give his running.
Looks limited and set for another struggle having been pulled up in handicap at Wincanton on chasing debut.
Little form since winning over C&D 3 years ago and looks firmly up against it returning from 18 months off.
Out of sorts when last seen 20 months and unlikely he retains much ability.

PEP TALKING is thriving for his current yard and had a bit to spare at Sedgefield recently, so he's fancied to complete the hat-trick for all that this is a bit more competitive.
