Smart in bumpers and bright start over hurdles last winter, winning first 2 starts in novice company. Well backed, could only manage sixth in EBF Final on handicap debut at Sandown in March but encouraging chasing debut at Chepstow on return. Looks the one to beat.
Four-time winner at Plumpton but hasn't returned in top form and others are more appealing.
Proved to be a different proposition switched to fences following a wind op last term, winning 3 times (at up to 19.8f). Returned with a solid showing at Fontwell and is likely to be thereabouts again.
Low-mileage sort who landed 3 of his 6 starts in France. Lightly raced for this yard and only third of 4 on chasing debut 8 months ago but returns with stable firing on all cylinders.
Fair winner over hurdles who showed better form on his first go at chasing. Below form subsequently and hasn't been seen for 22 months, so market could be informative.
Fair form over hurdles but inauspicious start to chasing when pulled up in a handicap at Stratford 7 months ago. Can't be completely written off, though.
A dual chase scorer (up to 2m4f) last term but brought down 6th in handicap chase at Huntingdon on return. Jumping let him down at Sandown last time but this is easier.
Only second run for his current yard when getting off the mark over fences at Leicester (22.7f, heavy) in January. Not at best when last seen, though, and may need this.
Winner over hurdles at Perth in June and followed that with a couple of respectable efforts in defeat. Yet to fire over fences but it's still early days.

Forecasts
Hasthing (11/8), Duhallow Tommy (4/1), Zertakt (11/2), Abingworth (15/2), Fever Dream (8/1), Golden De Coeur (14/1), Reilly (16/1), Alto Alto (28/1), No Tackle (50/1)
HASTHING should improve for his chasing debut and bumper form gives him the potential for a good bit more progress yet, so he's preferred to the reliable Duhallow Tommy. Zertakt is well handicapped on his French form and returns with his stable going well, so he's not without hope.
