Resumed winning ways at Perth in July. Below par since, however, so easy enough to look elsewhere (6 of his 9 chase wins have come in February or March).

Enjoyed a good season over hurdles, scoring at Bangor and at Newbury. Decent start to chasing when fifth at Bangor on return and entitled to progress. Big shout in this weaker race.
Made a successful debut over fences at Chepstow a year ago and added to his tally at Warwick the following month. Some good efforts in defeat since and better for return third at Warwick last month. In the mix.
Low-mileage 8-y-o who took his form up a notch when gaining a first win over fences in 14-runner handicap at Haydock in April 2023. Below form next time and not seen since (off 19 months) but worth monitoring in the betting on return.
Winning Irish pointer who got off the mark under Rules when easily landing Chepstow maiden hurdle (19.5f) in December. Well held switched to fences both starts this season, however.

Tanganyika (4/5), Minella Blueway (7/2), Ballycamus (6/1), Jeffery's Cross (6/1), Gold Clermont (12/1), Cap Du Nord (28/1)
TANGANYIKA shaped well in a stronger race than this on his chase bow/comeback at Bangor and gets the vote with improvement on the cards. The reliable Ballycamus can follow the selection home.
