Fairly useful maiden on the Flat. Shaped with some encouragement when fourth on hurdling debut at Punchestown but was in the process of going backwards from that when unseating rider last in juvenile hurdle at Cork (15.7f, soft) 6 days ago.

Ballyearl

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Darragh O'Keeffe| T: H De Bromhead

16/1

Buck's Boum gelding. Dam, maiden over hurdles/fences in France, half-sister to fairly useful French chaser (19f-3½m winner) Denalie Bellevue. In top hands and needs a market check.

Form:

Chortal^t¹⁵⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Sam Ewing| T: G Elliott

10/1

Fair form when down the field in maiden/minor events on Flat, left poorly placed last time. Has left John & Thady Gosden and been gelded. Interesting hurdling debutant.

Form:

Medical Man¹²⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: O R Brown⁽⁵⁾| T: W Durkan

100/1

Went with little encouragement when tenth of 13 in juvenile hurdle at Ballinrobe (16.8f, good to soft) on NH debut 124 days ago.

Form: 0

My Mate Tony²⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: J S McGarvey| T: P McCreery

66/1

Modest maiden on the Flar who was out of his depth when pulled up in Prestbury Juvenile Hurdle (100/1) at Cheltenham (16.4f, good) 28 days ago won by East India Dock. This is more suitable at least.

Form: P4P

Slurricane²¹

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Mr L P Shanahan⁽⁷⁾| T: R O'Sullivan

7/2

Fairly useful Flat winne and going the right way over hurdles, finishing third of 21 at Punchestown (16.7f) 3 weeks ago. Seems sure to make a bold bid.

Form: 323

Spencer Dock²¹⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Gavin Brouder⁽⁵⁾| T: Michael G Cleary

200/1

Well held sole outing on Flat for Kevin Prendergast and makes no appeal now going hurdling.

Form:

Teofimo^h1,t¹⁷⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: M J M O'Sullivan| T: J S Bolger

12/1

Fairly useful form when placed in 1½m maiden on second of 3 starts on Flat but dropped away straight having refused to settle last time. Will need to settle better now switching to hurdling. Hood and tongue strap on.

Form:

Young Churchill⁷³

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Donagh Meyler| T: N Meade

14/1

Fairly useful maiden on Flat (stays 1½m), runner-up penultimate outing, possibly found race coming too soon last time. In the right hands to make it as a hurdler.

Form:

Beyond Your Dreams²⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 10-7| J: Mark Walsh| T: J P O'Brien

1/2

Fairly useful Flat winner and has made a bright start over hurdles, improving on debut form when second of 11 in juvenile (18/5) at Navan (16f, good to soft) 27 days ago. Should improve further and has excellent clams.

Form: 22

Chartwell's Lady²¹

150/1

Fair maiden on the Flat. Thrice-raced maiden over hurdles. Brought down third in juvenile hurdle at Punchestown (16.7f, soft, 200/1) 21 days ago.

Makaiah⁸⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 10-7| J: Aidan Kelly⁽⁵⁾| T: Gerard O'Leary

200/1

Modest maiden on the Flat, runner-up in claimer penultimate outing, below form in handicap last time. Likely outsider on hurdle debut.

Form:

Beyond Your Dreams (1/2), Slurricane (7/2), Chortal (10/1), Teofimo (12/1), Young Churchill (14/1), Ballyearl (16/1), Babich (28/1), My Mate Tony (66/1), Medical Man (100/1), Chartwell's Lady (150/1), Sprinkles (200/1), Makaiah (200/1), Spencer Dock (200/1), Run Away Merida (250/1)

BEYON YOUR DREAMS was unlucky to bump into a useful prospect at Navan last month and looks the most persuasive option with further improvement on the cards. Slurricane is going the right way also and is considered the main threat ahead of Chortal.
