Dual C&D winner and also fourth in Midlands Grand National here in March. Pulled up in 3m Bangor handicap last time though so he needs to get back on track.
Course winner who signed off for last term with a solid third of 7 in handicap hurdle here 8 months ago. Much respected back chasing on his seasonal return.
Useful winning hurdler who made a promising start in this sphere when third at Exeter. Pulled up in 30f handicap chase there when last seen out 12 months ago but can't be discounted resuming after wind surgery for his in-form yard.
Really found the winning habit last spring, completing a hat-trick over C&D. Given a break since a lesser effort in the Summer Cup here in June and must enter calculations.
It's now 12 runs since his last win in 2022 and he was pulled up in handicap chase at Wincanton (25.1f, good) 54 days ago. Needs to take a big step forward.
Resumed from 9 months off with a solid second of 5 in handicap chase here (26.1f, good to soft) 24 days ago. Can make his presence felt off the same mark.
Lightly-raced winning pointer/hurdler. Off 12 months before coming in a staying-on third of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (24.5f, good to soft) on his debut over fences 21 days ago. Not ruled out with cheekpieces added.
Runner-up in an Irish point and then won a 2m5f novice hurdle for Christian Williams in May 2023. Off since but he remains with plenty of potential now switched to fences for yard well among the winners. Interesting.
Notched a fifth win over the larger obstacles at Market Rasen (27.6f) in May. Off 5 months and below par at Stratford and Bangor since. Has it to prove.

Forecasts
Sound And Fury (11/4), Not Long Left (4/1), Sporting Ace (6/1), Here Comes McCoy (15/2), Autonomous Cloud (15/2), Broomfield Present (8/1), Post Chaise (10/1), Imperial Alex (14/1), Fantastikas (18/1)
NOT LONG LEFT starts life over fences with the excellent Venetia Williams team on a potentially handy mark so is worth siding with to defy a long absence. Broomfield Present fluffed his lines when last seen out at Exeter but is another weighted to have a say if breathing surgery has had a beneficial effect. Sound And Fury and Sporting Ace both enter the reckoning too in this intriguing handicap.
