Six-figure buy out of the pointing field (fell when having every chance both occasions) and made a much better fist of it sent hurdling on return when second at Uttoxeter in October. Stuck to task well when occupying same spot at Ffos Las a month ago and there should be more to come.

£7,500 3-y-o, £95,000 4-y-o, Norse Dancer gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler (stayed 21f) Midnight Tour. Off the mark in Irish points at third attempt in May and sound start to hurdles career when third of 10 at Kelso in October.
Sea The Moon gelding. Half-brother to 2 winners, including 15f hurdle winner in Italy Lights of Home. Dam 9.5f/1¼m winner. Bred more for the Flat but a good sort physically and second of 5 on debut at Kelso January 2023. That race didn't work out and he's been off since.
Fair maiden hurdler who made the frame on 4 occasions last season and another solid effort when runner-up on return at Market Rasen (16.6f, good). Failed to settle fully switched to a handicap when fifth at Leicester but he's a player at this level.
£22,000 5-y-o, Watar gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser (stayed 25f) Haul Us In. Runner-up on second of 2 starts in Irish points and represents a good stable.
Half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Born Survivor and fairly useful hurdler/chaser Theatre Flame. Showed plenty when second in a bumper at Newcastle on debut in December 2022 but was too free and faded out of it at Ayr 2 months later. Off since but she's in good hands.
Related to a point winner and bolted up on second bumper start at Carlisle (17f, soft) in December. Fared as well as could be expected when mid-field in Grade 2 company at Aintree but sent off odds-on, she failed to deliver on last month's hurdles bow, not fluent. Must be capable of better.
Modest on Flat (stays 1½m), successful in handicap at Catterick in May on second UK start. In rear when falling on hurdles debut last month.

Forecasts
Diamonds For Luck (4/9), Just Call Me Lucy (5/1), Reel Rosie (5/1), Rumoursareflying (7/1), High Dancer (7/1), Sam's Falcon (25/1), Too Cool Forshrule (33/1), Chalk That Down (40/1), Moonlight Monarch (66/1), Stellarmasterpiece (100/1), Vampire Slayer (150/1)
DIAMONDS FOR LUCK sets the standard on a brace of runner-up efforts this autumn so he looks the percentage call. Just Call Me Lucy will have hopefully derived plenty from his Hexham run and is a huge threat on her bumper form, with Rumoursareflying likely to be involved.
