A smart chaser for Willie Mullins who made a sound start for new yard when third in 2m listed hurdle at Kempton in October. Let down by his jumping in Grand Sefton at Aintree since and should be much happier back over hurdles.
Developed into a useful hurdler last season, winning 3 times at around 20f. Ran to a similar level when fourth of 6 on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter but fell 4 out at Aintree last time and now back over the smaller obstacles.
On a losing run but he comes here on the back of an excellent third in 11-runner handicap at Bangor (19.6f, soft) 24 days ago. Expected to go well again back up in trip.
Successful in this corresponding event last season on his way to completing a hat-trick. Had his winning run ended in comprehensive fashion in a valuable handicap here in February but got straight back on track when fourth at Taunton on final outing. Reappears from a 1 lb lower mark.
Three-time hurdles winner for Charles Byrnes who ran well on first 2 starts over fences for new yard. Ran below form at Kempton on final outing but could go well reverting to hurdling back from a 7-month break.
Grade 2 winner here as a novice and made an encouraging return to action after 12 months off when fourth in 9-runner handicap at this course (19.8f) 27 days ago, denied a clear run early in straight. Interesting now upped to a staying trip with that run under his belt (bred to stay at least 3m).
Dual novice hurdle winner in early 2022 and also successful over fences later that year. Shaped well on his reappearance at Lingfield last season but disappointing all 3 runs thereafter, finishing second by default back over hurdles at Newbury on final outing. Needs to hit the ground running.
Seemingly not the force of old but his mark reflects that and he ran better than for a while when third of 16 in handicap hurdle at Galway (24.3f, soft) in August. Not taken lightly.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2021 but ran creditably having a first crack at a staying trip when third in 14-runner handicap hurdle (7/1) at Chepstow (23.6f, good) on final outing. This is tougher back from 7 months off.

Henri The Second (11/4), Dubrovnik Harry (9/2), West To The Bridge (5/1), Operation Manna (5/1), Super Survivor (6/1), Ike Sport (15/2), Up For Parol (12/1), Grozni (14/1), Party Business (14/1), Authorized Art (20/1)
HENRI THE SECOND, a Grade 2 winner here as a novice, made an encouraging return to action when fourth back at this venue last month and, with the step up to a staying trip well worth exploring (bred to stay well), he's an appealing candidate. West To The Bridge and Dubrovnik Harry head the dangers in an intriguing handicap.
