Kissman²⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 12-0| J: N F Houlihan| T: G & J Moore| OR: 118

33/1

A fairly useful winner hurdler in France for E. d'Andigne. Changed hands for €125,000 but he came in last of 4 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell (19.1f, good to soft) 28 days ago. Worth another chance for good yard.

Form: 89-14

I Wish You⁵⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 11-13| J: D R Fox| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR: 117

6/1

Consistent sort who got off the mark in 10-runner novice hurdle at Carlisle (17.2f, soft) 50 days ago. That form has been franked so he needs considering on his handicap debut.

Form: 2222-1

Authentic Legacy¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-8| J: Kielan Woods| T: G & J Moore| OR: 112| BF

11/8

Authorized gelding has made a promising start in this sphere when runner-up on all three starts, latest in 2m1f novice at Fontwell 19 days ago. Looks to have more to offer so merits serious consideration now handicapping.

Form: 482-22

Fasol^p1,t²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Harry Skelton| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 108| BF

85/40

A very useful winning stayer on Flat in France. Yet to match that form over hurdles, though not disgraced when fourth of 15 on his handicap debut at Cheltenham 21 days ago. Remains with potential in this sphere.

Form: 4-24

Razzle Dazzle Boy²¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR: 104

15/2

Fair maiden hurdler. Posted a solid sixth of 15 in handicap at Cheltenham (16.4f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Ought to be in the shake-up eased 1 lb.

Form: 5236

Ellerton¹⁵⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: S Bowen| T: Anthony Charlton| OR: 99| BF

11/1

In good form without winning over hurdles, although only seventh of 11 in 2m2f Stratford handicap in July when favourite. Work to do returning in this company.

Form: 326-327

Forecasts

Authentic Legacy (11/8), Fasol (85/40), Cavern Club (4/1), I Wish You (6/1), Razzle Dazzle Boy (15/2), Ellerton (11/1), Moab (12/1), Kissman (33/1)

None of these can be ruled out but the vote goes to AUTHENTIC LEGACY who looks to start life in handicaps on a lenient mark and can now end a run of three second placings. James Owen's Cavern Club heads the list of dangers on the back of his excellent Cheltenham second, with Razzle Dazzle Boy, Fasol and I Wish You also in the mix.
