See The Green²⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 11-7| J: James Best| T: Anthony Charlton| D

18/1

Fairly useful on Flat for Owen Burrows and made a successful start to his hurdle career in Ludlow juvenile last month. That was an ordinary race but he should progress.

Form: 1

City Of London⁵⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 11-2| J: R Patrick| T: Kerry Lee

7/1

Half-brother to connections' smart hurdler Nemean Lion. 7/2, showed plenty of ability when second of 5 in juvenile hurdle on debut in October. Should improve and go well again.

Form: 2

Galactic Charm⁴⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 11-2| J: Caoilin Quinn| T: G & J Moore

14/1

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 2m) for Michael Bell. New connections acquired him for 47,000 gns in October. One of 2 runners for a stable which does well here.

Form:

Hot Fuss^p⁴⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 11-2| J: David Bass| T: Tom Dascombe

4/9

Useful Flat performer who chased home subsequent Cheltenham Grade 2 winner East India Dock on his Wincanton hurdle debut in October. Surely only a matter of time before he's winning over hurdles.

Form: 2

Small Fry¹⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 11-2| J: N F Houlihan| T: G & J Moore| BF

13/2

Harzand gelding who has developed into a fairly useful handicapper on the Flat, registering 3 victories at up to 14.5f. Ran to only a modest level when third on his Fontwell hurdle debut last month but he should improve for the experience.

Forecasts

Hot Fuss (4/9), Small Fry (13/2), City Of London (7/1), Marhaba Million (12/1), Galactic Charm (14/1), Melon (14/1), See The Green (18/1)

An interesting juvenile, although it's still hard to ignore the claims of HOT FUSS who gave last month's Cheltenham Grade 2 winner East India Dock a race on his Wincanton hurdle debut in October. City of London should build on his opening run at Chepstow, while Melon and Galactic Charm have done enough on the Flat to think they can do well in juvenile hurdles.
