Purchased for £45,000 after winning sole start in Irish points (May 26). Interesting runner for a stable with a very healthy bumper strike-rate.

Point winner but beaten around 14 lengths in bumpers at Warwick and Sedgefield this autumn. Likely vulnerable for win purposes again.

Kingston Hill gelding. Dam (h119) 2m/17f hurdle winner, also 1½m winner on Flat. Has had wind surgery. Makes plenty of appeal on paper for top yard.

Masterstroke half-brother to Italian 7f-1¼m winner Mexico Point. Dam unraced. His good trainer is only 1-13 in bumpers so far but expect that strike-rate to improve before long.

Sent off at 100/30 when last of 11 in bumper at Warwick in April (only start for Toby Lawes). His strength in the betting suggests better was expected and it'll be interesting to see if his supporters' return setting out for a new yard.

80/1, down the field on his Cheltenham debut in October. Will need to leave that run well behind now.

Telescope gelding who is a half-brother to bumper winners and showed a fair level of ability when fourth of 8 on his Huntingdon debut in March. Should improve for that experience and respected.

Purchased for £65,000 after reaching the frame both starts in Irish points. Has joined a good stable and would firmly enter the reckoning if the betting vibes are strong.

There's a few interesting sorts among the Rules newcomers, none more so than Dan Skelton's HESTINA HILL, who gets the nod before any market clues are known. Irish point recruits Berkenshtaaap and Dramatic Encore are other likely types for whom the betting should be informative, while Star Artist looks pick of those with experience.
