Fairly useful 2m hurdles/chase winner at his best but ran poorly at Wincanton when last seen in April and has questions to answer on first start since.

Won 2m handicaps at Doncaster and Taunton last winter but below that level more recently, including on debut for new yard at Wetherby last month.

Bagged 2 of his first 3 starts over hurdles last term but came in last on his handicap debut at Ayr in April and made a disappointing return at Kempton last month. No surprise to see headgear reached for.

Off the mark at Doncaster (19.4f) in March and picked up where he left off, back from 8-month absence, when taking 11-runner handicap hurdle at this course (17.2f, good to soft) 38 days ago. Raised 5 lb since but looks sure to go well again.

Dual bumper scorer who reached a fairly useful level over hurdles last season, winning once from 5 starts having kept good company. Shaped much better than on return when third in Wetherby handicap (19.7f, good) last month and is 2 lb lower now. Respected.

Dual winner over hurdles last year. Back from 11 months off when unseating rider (looked to be coming to end of his tether) at this course 20 days ago and others hold more appeal. 1 lb out of the handicap.
