Myles Turns 30 Novices' Chase (GBB Race)

Rapidly made up into a smart novice hurdler in Ireland for Gordon Elliott, winning 2m Grade 1 at Leopardstown over Christmas. New connections acquired for €740,000 in February and looks an exciting recruit to chasing.

Fairly-useful hurdler who posted best effort over fences when third in listed handicap at Gowran (16f) in March. Below that level thereafter but warrants respect on debut for new yard here.

Winning Irish pointer who improved with each start last term, ending campaign with creditable second of 7 in novice hurdle at Bangor (23.2f, soft) in April. Type to make a chaser but this trip looks on the short side.

Fair hurdler who got off the mark at Ayr (16f) in March. However, below that level at same course when last seen in April and faces a stiff task on switch to larger obstacles here. Had wind operation.

Fair hurdler who opened account at Kelso (22.7f) last December and backed that up with creditable fifth of 14 in handicap at Musselburgh (23.8f, good to soft) in February. Still low mileage but is another who would prefer a stiffer test of stamina. Makes chase debut.

Looked set to score in this sphere when coming down late on at Catterick in March and gained compensation over hurdles at this course (19.2f) next time. Looks up against it here, though.
