Returned from wind surgery to make a successful chase debut at Southwell (20.5f, good) last month. The slightly shorter trip this time isn't sure to play to his strengths but he appeals as one who should have even more to offer over fences.

Fairly useful novice hurdler last season but well below that level on his completed start over fences last autumn. Too soon to write him off in this sphere but he needs to jump better.

Won a Sedgefield maiden hurdle in October and followed up on his chase and handicap debut at Warwick (2½m, good) 5 weeks later. His 5 lb rise for that is offset by his very promising rider's 7 lb claim. Hard to beat.

Fair hurdler who came good at the sixth time of asking in 21.5f Newton Abbot maiden in September. Bettered that form when narrowly denied under a penalty at Southwell (3m) the following month but not at best at Ludlow since. Chase debut (placed in point at start of career).

Modest handicap hurdler who has run to a similar level on all 3 chase starts this autumn. Likely vulnerable to some of the less-exposed sorts in this line-up.
