Pertemps Network Novices' Handicap Chase

Fontwell bumper winner in February 2022. However, very lightly raced since and modest form only in 3 novice hurdles. Well held on chase debut at Worcester on return.

Long-standing maiden who was runner-up on 3 of first 4 starts over fences, but little impact both starts since. Has left Peter Fahey and off 7 months.

Fair maiden hurdler who took well to fences season, finishing runner-up in 3m handicaps at Southwell and Exeter. Good run of form came to a halt at Catterick final start but type to bounce back.

Fair maiden hurdler for Thomas Gallagher. Yet to fire for his current yard, so bit to prove sent chasing in a change of headgear.

Landed a gamble making a winning debut for this yard under an attacking ride at Wincanton and followed up in hard-fought fashion at Huntingdon 2 weeks ago, outbattling runner-up. Should make another bold bid.

Maiden pointer. Well held only start over hurdles and poor on balance of form over fences (trained by Richard Pringuer in hunters first 2 starts), no match for principals when third of 7 in handicap chase (9/2) at Huntingdon. Off 6 months.

Progressed well switched to handicaps last season, again showing a good attitude when scoring for the third time at Stratford (22f, heavy) in March. Next 2 starts were poor but type to bounce back on chase bow/return.

Successful just once from 8 starts between the flags and well held all 3 starts over hurdles. Makes chase debut.
