Iron D'ex^p²⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Callum Pritchard⁽⁷⁾| T: Sheila Lewis| OR: 98

9/2

Scored on his chasing bow at Ludlow but only seventh of 10 in handicap chase at Bangor (20.3f, heavy) next time. Cheekpieces back on.

Form: 25PP-17

Flamelco^h,t1⁶⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: Jay Tidball⁽⁵⁾| T: Mrs S J Humphrey| OR: 94

16/1

It's now 13 runs since his last win in 2022 but he shaped well for his new yard after 4 months off (formerly with Gary & Josh Moore) when a fading sixth of 8 in handicap chase at Fontwell (19.5f, good) 64 days ago. In the mix with hood/tongue strap back on.

Form: P255-F6

Dunstall Rambler^h²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: Jack Hogan⁽³⁾| T: T R George| OR: 93

12/1

Remains winless but he posted a creditable third of 7 in handicap chase at Ludlow (16f, good to soft) 20 days ago. Needs considering.

Form: PF2-7U3

Coup De Gold¹⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-0| J: Conor Ring| T: Evan Williams| OR: 84

16/1

Arrives in good nick over hurdles, third of 6 in 2m handicap here 15 days ago. Much respected on his chase debut.

Form: F39423

Smart Casual^t²⁰⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 10-13| J: R P McLernon| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 83| BF

6/1

Yet to register a victory but he recorded a respectable third of 13 in handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (15.8f, good to soft) in May. Resumes for his first go over fences and can't be discounted.

Form: P24B2-3

Wellwillya³⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: Lorcan Murtagh| T: Mrs H R J Nelmes| OR: 78

15/2

Took form up a notch when getting off the mark on fencing bow in 12-runner handicap chase at Exeter (17.5f, good to soft) 36 days ago. Well on top at the finish there so not taken lightly despite a 4 lb rise.

Form: 565-PP1

The Big Man^t²³

Age: 5| Weight: 10-3| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR: 73

18/1

Failed to build on his chasing debut promise when tenth of 12 in handicap chase over C&D 23 days ago. Still low mileage so may still do better.

Form: 0677-40

Forecasts

Paddy In The Caddy (6/5), Iron D'ex (9/2), Smart Casual (6/1), Wellwillya (15/2), Dunstall Rambler (12/1), Flamelco (16/1), Coup De Gold (16/1), The Big Man (18/1)

PADDY IN THE CADDY took his form up a level on just his second run over fences when an all-the-way winner at Warwick and can make light of a 7 lb penalty now connections have discovered the key for this son of Doyen. Comfortable Exeter scorer Wellwillya appeals as the one to chase him home ahead of chasing newcomers Coup de Gold and Smart Casual and the handily-weighted Flamelco.
