Left hurdling debut form behind when runner-up in a Warwick novice (2m, heavy) last November and back to that sort of level when filling the same position at Hereford (21.7f, soft) back in February, albeit making hard work of things. Back up in trip and may need this on return.

Been in good form back over hurdles, scoring at Newton Abbot in June and placed next 4 outings. Underperformed reverted to Flat at Wolverhampton on first outing since leaving Ben Pauling (sold £10,000) a fortnight ago and now heads back over obstacles.
Tasted success twice in mares' hurdles in spring 2023 but has been more miss than hit since. Found things too competitive with chasing experiment quickly shelved at Wincanton (21.4f, good) recently but this is more her sort of level.
Gained a fourth win of a very productive first half of the season when striking under this rider here (21f, good to soft) 18 days ago. 5 lb higher so demands more but he has to enter the reckoning in his current mood.
Fair hurdle winner in Ireland and shrugged off a low-key first run for Grace Harris when second of 10 at Leicester (20.5f, good to soft) last Monday. Claims from the same mark.
Successful at Worcester (2½m) in May 2023 and hasn't done a great deal wrong since, most recently finishing second of 10 over C&D (good to soft) last month. No reason why she won't give another good account.
Twelve runs since last win in 2023 and turned in a rare poor effort when pulled up at Chepstow (23.6f, good to soft) earlier in the month. Bounce back needed from 3 lb out of the weights.
Point winner who was pulled up both starts over fences, including on first start for current yard at Exeter recently, and again showed little reverted to hurdles at Chepstow just under 3 weeks ago. 4 lb out of weights and first-time cheekpieces need to spark a major revival.
Poor maiden who predictably showed nothing after 22 months off at this course earlier in the month. Easy swerve from well out of the weights.

Faerie Cutlass (11/4), Melton Mossy (10/3), Brownstone (10/3), Myfanwy's Magic (6/1), Pure Theatre (13/2), R Bernard (12/1), Greatness Awaits (16/1), Rubys Reward (18/1), Maska Du Morvan (40/1), Dark Heather (100/1)
MELTON MOSSY gained a fourth win of a very productive first half of the season here earlier in the month so Evan Williams' 5-y-o is fancied to defy a 5 lb rise at the expense of Greatness Awaits, who made an underwhelming start on the level for this yard recently but can get back on track returned to hurdles. Pure Theatre was out of her depth at Wincanton last time so completes the shortlist.
