Boasts plenty of experience over fences and ran up to best, in first-time blinkers, when second of 9 in handicap chase at Limerick (19.2f, good to soft, 10/1) 32 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Should go well again.

Useful hurdler. Below best when last seen at Punchestown in May but will be tough to beat if taking to this discipline.

Poor chaser. Remains a maiden after 19 NH runs. 50/1, fourteenth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (21f, good to soft) 33 days ago. Switches from hurdles to chase. Hard to fancy.

Forecasts

Jigoro (4/9), Caesar Rock (5/2), Drumgill (12/1), That's About Right (22/1), Haveuseentherain (125/1)

Verdict

JIGORO acquitted himself well in useful company over hurdles and has been found a good opportunity to make a winning start over the larger obstacles here. Caesar Rock is the obvious danger.
