£130,000 5-y-o, Soldier of Fortune gelding. Half-brother to numerous winners, including useful hurdler/chaser The Crafty Butcher. Successful on second of 2 starts in Irish points and fitted with a tongue tie, he showed plenty when second at Hexham last month. Major player on hurdles bow.
£55,000 3-y-o, £350,000 4-y-o, seventh foal: half-brother to poor chaser Kildrum (3m winner, by Milan). Dam unraced. Won sole start in Irish points in March and changed hands for plenty after. Has to be of major interest.
€65,000 3-y-o, Doyen gelding. Closely related to useful hurdler Harry Senior. Displayed ability amidst greenness when fifth of 9 in a bumper at Chepstow a month ago. Hurdles debut.
Kapgarde gelding. Dam unraced sister to winning hurdler/smart chaser (17f-21f winner) Sidi Bouknadel. Maiden Irish pointer and went with little encouragement on hurdles debut in June 2023. Tongue tie on.
Purchased for £82,000 after finishing runner-up in an Irish point in February. Shaped as though in need of the run in a bumper at Cheltenham last month.
Champs Elysees gelding. Dam, bumper winner, half-sister to useful chaser (stayed 3m) Coningsby. Strong in the betting fitted with a tongue tie for debut but failed to meet expectations at Southwell in May. Bit more like it at Worcester 2 months later but more certainly needed switched to hurdling.
Shaped well when fourth of 17 in novice hurdle at Exeter (16.7f, soft) in December 2022. Set to be placed before falling heavily in November 2023 and off the track since. Hood on and he sets the hurdles standard.
Looks limited.
Offered something to work on when third in Newton Abbot bumper in May but no show over hurdles so far.
Nathaniel mare who found some improvement when off the mark at fourth attempt in a Newton Abbot bumper (16.8f) for Rod Millman 18 months ago. Joined good NH yard ahead of this belated hurdles debut and the betting can prove a useful guide.
No impact in bumpers 4 months apart.
Ran to only a poor level in bumpers at Newbury/Stratford during the spring and always behind on hurdles debut.
Minor promise only in 4 starts.
Runner-up on the last of 3 outings in points and showed a bit on Rules debut at Kelso last month. Suffered heavy defeat at Chepstow since.

Buckna (1/1), Admiral Stewart (5/2), Walk On High (4/1), Walk In The Hills (7/1), Edmond (14/1), Harry Junior (18/1), Let Me Go Boys (22/1), Slide Rule (22/1), Pink Eyed Pancho (66/1), Arctic Angel (100/1), Lyle View (100/1), Illico Du Breuil (125/1), Kiss Me Moon (200/1), Absence Of Malice (250/1), Lake's Aventurine (250/1), Grayland (250/1)
Connections went to £350,000 to acquire BUCKNA following his point win in the spring so hopes have to be high that he will follow up on hurdles debut for his in-form yard. Walk On High is an obvious threat, along with Admiral Stewart.
