Gilbertina¹⁷⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-7| J: Tom Broughton⁽⁵⁾| T: N Kent| OR: 107| CD

13/2

Has often gone well here and bagged a second course success when just clinging on in a C&D handicap in February. Not in same form twice after, though. Back from 175 days off.

Form: 74210-8

Punxsutawney Phil^p³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Tom Midgley⁽³⁾| T: M Walford| OR: 106| D

28/1

Struggling for form when last seen in this sphere and ran poorly on the Flat last time, so arrives with something to prove for all that he's on a handy mark.

Form: 34/6P67-

Mr Sundancer⁴⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M Walford| OR: 106

11/1

Latest win in hurdle at Downpatrick in August. Below form eighth of 16 in handicap hurdle (12/1) at Roscommon (15.6f, soft) 34 days ago. First run for yard after leaving John Joseph Hanlon. Worth monitoring in the betting.

Form: 563148

Kosasiempre⁴²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: C Gethings| T: S Edmunds| OR: 102| CD

85/40

Dual 2m4f winner over C&D early this summer. Back on track when second at Southwell last time and boasts solid claims under ideal conditions.

Form: PP-1152

Bread And Butter^t¹⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 11-2| J: Lewis Saunders⁽⁷⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 102

5/2

Back on track to capitalise on a reduced mark with something in hand at Hereford 10 days ago. Able to race off the same mark now and boasts obvious claims.

Form: 593-401

Forecasts

Kosasiempre (85/40), Bread And Butter (5/2), Tribal Glory (3/1), Gilbertina (13/2), Kazontherazz (10/1), Mr Sundancer (11/1), Punxsutawney Phil (28/1)

BREAD AND BUTTER capitalised on a falling mark with something to spare in a conditionals race at Hereford 10 days ago and, having escaped a penalty, he's worth a chance to go in again under the same rider. Tribal Glory and Kosasiempre look the main dangers.
