Looked a useful prospect when making a winning chase debut at Ludlow on final outing for Sam Thomas. Pulled up both starts over fences for new yard last season but showed ability remains back hurdling at the start of the summer and returns from a break with his yard going well.
Losing run stretches back to spring of last year and well held back from a break at Southwell last month. Potentially well handicapped but leap of faith required.
Won handicaps over C&D and at Stratford (18.5f) in May. Good placed efforts at Newton Abbot on next 2 starts and player if returning from a 140-day break in the same form.
Won over 17f at Sedgefield for David Thompson in January and has made the frame on 3 of his 4 completed starts since switched to present yard, finishing second of 9 at Stratford under Eleanor Williams last month. Considered.
Fair performer on Flat but no real impact over hurdles, including switched to a handicap at Chepstow a fortnight ago.
No worthwhile form in a bumper/maiden hurdles, although he was backed on his Newton Abbot stable debut in August only to pull too hard. Has a hood on now to hopefully help him to settle better and it'll be interesting to see if there's money for him again now handicapping.

Forecasts
Jazz King (13/8), Ikigai Star (2/1), Coup De Gold (3/1), Our Dylan (9/2), John Betjeman (9/2), Rocky's Glory (16/1), Eagle Court (33/1), Timeforarum (33/1)
With the Alastair Ralph stable among the winners a chance is taken on JAZZ KING, who potentially has a bit of class for this level. Our Dylan was in fine form when last seen and is second choice ahead of Coup de Gold. Ikigai Star would also firmly enter the reckoning if showing up after/instead of Kempton on Monday.
